Dental Implants

General Information About Dental Implants

Dental Implantsare artificial roots made of titanium that are placed in the jawbone and used to replace missing teeth. Afterwards, superstructures such as porcelain or zirconium veneers are placed on these roots. Thus, both aesthetically and functionally, an appearance and usage close to the natural tooth is obtained.

Dental implants can be used in various treatment plans, from a single missing tooth to a full jaw restoration. Our expert dentists determine the number of implants needed and the treatment process by making a special planning for each patient.

Treatment Process

Dental implant applications are usually a two-stage process:

  1. First Stage (Surgical Procedure):
Implants are placed in the jawbone under local anesthesia. After the application, a waiting period of 2-4 months is usually required for the implant to integrate into the bone.

  2. Second Stage (Prosthetic Application):
A tooth-shaped crown or bridge is placed over the implant. This structure mimics natural teeth both aesthetically and functionally.

During this period, our patients can be supported with temporary solutions to avoid aesthetic discomfort.

Implant Brands Used

At Dent Denge, only implant brands approved by the Ministry of Health and with proven long-term clinical success are preferred. Global implant brands such as Osstem, Straumann can be recommended according to the needs of our patients.

Bone Graft and Sinus Lifting

In some patients, additional procedures such as bone grafting or sinus lifting may be required when the jawbone volume is not sufficient. These procedures are also performed by our specialist physicians. Such needs are explained to our patients in detail before treatment planning.

Treatment Plan and Transparent Pricing

Before starting implant treatment at Dent Denge, a detailed patient-specific planning is made and a transparent cost information is provided. If any additional procedures (abutment, temporary tooth, tomography, etc.) are required, all these items are informed in advance within the plan.

Who is it suitable for?

An implant may be considered in the following cases:

  • Missing teeth

  • Difficulty in using removable prosthesis

  • If the jawbone is at a sufficient level or bone grafting can be applied

Before implant treatment, a detailed examination and radiological imaging (panoramic X-ray or tomography if necessary) are performed to assess suitability.
